Rebill Products

Learn how to manage products for one time payments.

Product structure

Firstly, let's dive into how Products are structured within the Payments & Subscriptions process. They consist of the following key components:

  • Product. The product or service you want to offer. You can create as many products as you wish. You'll also be able to access the product's details, edit and archive them.

  • Price. For each of your products, you can create different prices for different currencies. This will enable certain payment methods by country, or even features like Installments. You don't need to worry about these technical things though, you can create as many prices as you want for a Product so it fits with you business scenarios. What's important is that these prices will be linked to plans. See more on this here.

  • Custom Data for Integrations. This metadata is useful for storing additional, structured information on an object. For instance, you can use metadata to store the unique identifier associated with a product for integration with an e-commerce system.

This adaptable structure is designed to prioritize customization and flexibility, seamlessly co-existing with subscription plans to not only boost conversion rates but also expand your ability to offer a wider range of products and services while enhancing versatility and scalability.

How to create a product

In the “Products” section, click on “Create product”.

You'll be redirected to the Create Product view, in which you can assign prices in different currencies for your product, accordingly to where you want to sell. You can also add Custom Data for integrations. Let's say you need to associate your payment link with a certain product in your e-commerce. With Metadata, you can add the SKU or external ID to the product with just a few clicks.

📘 Price currency limitations

Within Rebill's product structure, each currency is limited to one price per product. To accommodate different pricing strategies, you can create multiple products. Additionally, discount codes can be employed as a solution for offering varied pricing for a single product. This approach allows for flexible pricing while managing just one product.

When you create a new product, a Payment Link is also created. Payment Links will take your customers to the checkout landing and show them the price and currency that is specific to their country from which they are making the transaction. You don't need to worry about this, Rebill handles it for you!

Products Detail

This view gives you more control over your products. Access key information and edit whenever you need it.

The Products Detail view contains thorough and relevant information for each of the products created within an organization. Let's take a look at its structure and analyze the key aspects.

Firstly, you'll see the product's name, creation date and core settings. The first table below lists each of the currencies set to the product, along with its amounts.

Also, you'll be able to see all of the payment links associated to the product and the integration data added to the product upon its creation.

Edit a product

When editing a product, you'll be able to modify its name, description, frequency and advanced settings. You can also change the amount for each of the currencies available. You will not be able to add or remove currencies which have already been set upon creation.
